We are honored to invite you to participate in a unique opportunity to receive the wisdom of the sacred dharma from an authentic Tibetan master on the beautiful and sacred lands of Hawaii, in an outdoor venue right on the beach.  Spend intimate time with a realized and recognized meditation master and receive teachings not widely available to the public.  All while reconnecting with nature - walking barefoot on the grounding soft earth, dipping in the healing saltwater ocean, dancing in the cool island breeze, and sitting and receiving the warmth of the Hawaiian sun. The Awakening Bodhicitta Retreat

You’re warmly invited with aloha. Lama Lakshey Zangpo will be bestowing teachings on arousing Bodhicitta - the powerful and healing energy of unbounded compassion and wisdom.  He will also be giving profound instructions and leading daily meditations on this sacred practice . There will be the opportunity to participate in a ceremony to take Bodhisattva Vows during the retreat. 

This is a 5 day 4 night residential retreat from May 12, 2022 - May 16, 2022.  (Arrival on Thursday, May 12 and Departure on Monday, May 16).  The retreat will take place outdoors on the beach on the island of O’ahu in Hawaii with accommodations just steps away in conveniently located bungalows.  

Simple vegetarian meals will be offered for the retreat with vegan and gluten-free options for those who indicate that preference.  Each beach bungalow also comes with a fully equipped kitchen for retreatants to prepare their own snacks and extra meals.

All levels of meditators are welcome, including beginners and those with no experience with Buddhism or meditation.
